Despite removing the aluminium cover and air filter, I see only two short numbers: NY05 and 552021-1. The ENGINE NUMBER on the motor vehicle licence is: 188A40005964573. Make sure the steering wheel is straight and the wheels are pointing straight ahead. remove the steering wheel nut (24mm socket) and pull off the steering wheel. Mine needed a gentle tap from behind. Take off the trim from the top off the stearing colomn (2 screws). Now it's time for the stalk assembly.
